Resona creates jewellery shaped from sound. Voices, heartbeats, and environments are translated through a proprietary process into precise, wearable form. Each piece carries its origin as structure, not as a story added later.
The Soundmade process was developed at Skopelab, founded by Mark Lloyd in 2020. Claraval, the ceramics brand he co-founded in 2023, showed that people connect deeply with objects rooted in real moments and places.
Resona brings this sensibility into jewellery, using sound to give each piece a clear, singular presence, grounded in something that once happened and can still be felt.
ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Mark Lloyd is an engineer by training and a designer by instinct. He studied Engineering at Cambridge, then completed a Master’s in Industrial Design at the Royal College of Art. His career spans Jaguar and the PSA Group, where he rose to VP Global Brand Experience, leading multidisciplinary teams across design and brand strategy.
He has won multiple international awards for product, brand, and innovation work. Resona is a return to first principles: using technology and creativity to give objects back their weight, their memory, and their reason to exist.
